Cristina Garcia is an independent literary agent who represents a diverse list of authors across both fiction and nonfiction. Her interests encompass coming-of-age narratives, historical fiction approached with a contemporary sensibility, and elevated book club fiction, as well as works that challenge or transcend traditional genre boundaries or incorporate surreal and unconventional elements. She is interested to character-driven narratives that examine complex interpersonal relationships—familial, platonic, and romantic—and is often interested in stories defined by emotional intensity or themes of obsession.
